Boston's New England Aquarium - New England Aquarium is one of the best in the northeastern United States and was founded in 1969. The founders of the aquarium come up with an objective to offer an underwater experience for the guests and to provide a cultural institution that would reconnect Boston to its harbor. Amazingly on the first year of the business, the New England Aquarium had a guest of almost half a million. Early 1970, the New England Aquarium opened its first tourist attraction, the Giant Ocean Tank. Tourists visit the aquarium to see Myrtle the green sea turtle, who still stay at the huge tank.
The aquarium conducted an organization to respond to the sea creatures that being stranded on the area of New England. Tourist will experience different kinds of sea creature like the sea lions, dolphins and other sea creatures that are being showed in the aquarium.
During 80's the people experience the Northern Waters of the World gallery. “Boston Harbor: The Place, the Problem, and the Plan” happened to be the different stable show in Boston Harbor Room.
The New England put up another establishment for a new West Wing in mid-90s that was finished in 1998. To give more entertainment to the visitor they put up also the new Aquarium Medical Center, which gives them the opportunity to see animal care. The building has a gift shop and cafes also. Another was the addition of the Immersion Interactive Theater and the 6-storey IMAX 3-D Theater, the only kind of theater in the vicinity.
The New England Aquarium is known for its amazing shows like penguin area, fresh water gallery, tropical exhibit, and jellyfish display that gives entertainment for children and their parents. The aquarium also has a learning lab and also conducts whale-watching tours.
To have a snack after the tour, the Harbor View Cafes offers different kinds of food to choose from or try their mouth-watering Boston Clam Chowder. An outdoor café is also available in season.
